My boyfriend and I went to Industry City in Sunset Park. It’s a newer development with a lot of Japanese stores, ample food court, and a huge new Sahadi’s. It’s also home to the closer of two Daiso locations in NYC.

I grew up in a heavily asian populated town, and Daiso felt like a staple, almost like a Dollar General. I didn’t go there too often as a kid, but more and more as a teen and an adult, when I started working in the same city as where I grew up.

Finding a Daiso in New York reminded me of home in a good way. This is where I found this mini pill case.

I thought the case was so cute, and perfect for taking a few Advil/Tylenol/whatever in my bag. I’ve always had a lot of headaches, and it gives me peace of mind to know I won’t be subject to headaches for too long when I’m out and about.
